Xbox One black error screen

My Xbox just had an error with a black screen. It said to contact Xbox Support with the other languages on it. I don't remember the error code. I hard reset my xbox and it worked. Should I be worried about this. I've only had this console for 7 months.

Problem with latest update. "Error"

Xbox doesn't work now. Just loads to black error screen. Can't believe the problems I'm having with the system.

My xbox one s error code 0xd0000189, Standby and restart Black screen ,Screen flash and with the machine heating,Who knows what happened?

 

The hard reset probably cleared your system cache which fixed the problem. If the error happens again try to take a clear picture of the screen with your phone/tablet or write down the entire error message. Without knowing the error code not much more I
could help you with. But if you want to go through the steps to clear your system cache just to be on the safe side you can do so by:

Press and hold the power button on the front of the console until it powers down completely.

Unplug the power cable from the back of the console so that the power brick in not connected to the console.

Press the power button on the console three or four times. This will ensure that any remaining power in the battery is drained, clearing the cache on the console.

Plug the power cable back into the console.

Wait for the light on the power brick to change from white to orange.

Turn on the console using the power button.

Another thing I want to say. Should I worry about this issue. Stuff like this gets me paranoid

 

Not really, my Xbox One freezes up and give me error screens from time to time. Unfortunately as our technology becomes more advanced then more opportunities for stuff to mess up arises. If something does so wrong with your console, and your under warranty,
then Microsoft will fix it for free. But out of warranty Microsoft charges around $120 (USD) for a repair. If your paranoid about things like this then I would recommend you opting in for one of the extended warranty plans. The Microsoft one is around $70
(USD) and I think it gets you 2 more years of coverage. I always buy my consoles and accessories (like controllers and headsets) from Wal-Mart, you can pay a little extra to get a warranty that covers the item 100%, if it breaks or stops working you get a
brand new one. And when it comes to games I always opt in for the game play guarantee at GameStop, a few extra bucks and if the disc stops working you can trade it in for another one.

 

I just realized something. I got on today and went to settings and it had an update available so maybe that was the reason for the error. It's set to update automatically.
