I used to be part of the 360 program but been on xbox one now for about 4 month's and still can't find a way to join beta program for xbox one

Xbox Preview Dashboard

I've tested out almost every beta on Xbox 360 just got me a Xbox One. What website do I go to to join the beta program?

You need a friend who already participates and ask him to invite you. Anyway an invitation is not a guarantee that microsoft will accept you to participate.

I would recommend you don't bother.

I've had more trouble than fun with the program over the months and it's really not worth the hassle.

I'm sending my console back as the latest beta update royally *** it up. My console started having issues playing games so I tried to use the offline update tool to go back to a stable firmware and that's when my console bit the dust.

I'm glad you mentioned that Prometheus360, I had an idea to try that because I'm having game breaking problems with the last two Preview updates and would like to go back to a stable release, but if it's rendered your console inoperative then I'll persevere
with the unstable Preview firmware.

I may even enquire about taking the console back for a refund from where I bought it because I haven't had any solution yet to de-registering my console from Preview.

Of course you can unenroll your console from the program.

Just take the dashboard preview app and change the registration status of your console and you will be unenrolled from the program once the current wave had gone public.

Hi BobMcFly247, not sure if you were replying to me but unfortunately for me it's not that simple. My console was registered by the previous owner and not de-registered, so I'm locked out from registering it under my account until someone manages to de-register
it on my behalf.

Yes, I was answering your issue. I will inform one of the preview program managers on your problem. So please keep this thread in sight and check your forum pms, they are different from the xbl pms. Give them some time to respond.

I would love it if someone could invite me to the beta program i been trying to get in since it started. Plus i was in the update beta on the 360 since 2010 and i really enjoyed it that why i would like to get in on the xb1.

Best way is to ask one of your friends who already is in the preview program to invite you. If not having a friend already participating you may move over to the general discussion forums and find new friends and someone to invite you there.

Anyway you should be aware that an invitation is no guarantee to be accepted by Microsoft to participate. It's just a suggestion to them and we don't know the criteria for acceptance

As far as I know, this would have nothing to do with the Insiders Program? The Insiders program just extends to Xbox One dashboard updates and certain console betas, to my knowledge the PC Beta program is a totally separate entity.

That said, the type of people to be active both as an insider and on that subreddit would probably also be the type of person to try out the Beta App for PC.

Hey there,

If you have an anti-virus program try adding an exception to it (You'd need to look at their help/manual to figure out how as it's different for each program) to allow the Xbox beta app permission to connect to the internet. Virus scanners can block programs
they don't recognize and as the Xbox app is a beta one it might not be in their database yet.

Hello, i was wondering if you are part of the Insider Program on The Xbox One ? If you are you might want to check and see if you joined the Minecraft beta. I only say this because i’m in the insider program and my Minecraft would never load either until
a friend of mine asked if i was in the insider program beta and i said yes. Then he told me to leave the Minecraft beta program within the insider program and since then i’ve had no issues at all with minecraft. To check you go to the insider program app on
your Xbox One and then to to insider content and then click on Minecraft then leave the Minecraft beta. I hope this helps you out because i spent forever trying to figure out this problem.
