Xbox One Being Loud

Was on the internet like everyday and saw how Microsoft are replacing faulty Xbox's. I brought the day one edition last year and it was very quiet for about a week but since then it has been loud, when I say that I mean that the console itself (the fan and
disc drive). This has not effected the performance and functionality of the console but it is rather annoying.

This being the situation does that mean I can get a replacement or is that only for the new kinectless xbox ones?

Xbox One fan noise

So, i'm on my second Xbox One and got my first one replaced very simply and easily through GAME. I replaced my old one due to the fan making strange noises, it was making a clicking noise whilst it was on and off (in instant-on/standby mode) the fan seemed
far too loud as I could always hear it from anywhere in my room and i've read from most people that their Xbox One's are silent, which I'm now starting to think is them over-exhaggerating because my new Xbox One is still quite loud not always to the point
where it's annoying but the thought of it maybe being faulty is annoying. It still clicks when off and the power brick is now making a louder noise when on and off in standby mode than my other one was. It's especially loud when installing a game, and louder
than usual when starting up a game. I really can't tell if i'm being paranoid about this or not now. I was thinking at one point it was due to it being on a glass surface which amplified the noise, but I tested that out and put something under the Xbox and
it's still the same. Would really appreciate help with this one.

Xbox one s fan noise

Was going to say the same.With the power unit inside the console more heat is probably being generated so the fan will work a bit harder & be louder than the standard xbox one.

Hello, as someone who owns the original xbox one aka the black brick.

I can understand what you mean.

My brother has the xbox one x and has had the same issue.

Make sure it's on a stable surface, has a good amount of airflow to it and is in a open space as if things are close by it can interrupt the airflow and hot air it gives out.

During hot weather it can also do this, running certain games can do it and overall it will occasionally make a constant noise.

If I may ask, what kind of sound is it?

Is it the fan activities

A loud humbug ect?

These issues are usually due to dust getting in the intake vents blocking most of the airflow, which causes the xbox to try to pull more air in to keep it cool. That is probably why it is making a lot of noise.
