    Xbox One Beeps frequently when watching videos


    hi, I bought an Xbox One a bit over a year ago. About six months in, it started to make a very loud, annoying beep, quite often. It seems to happen specifically when I am streaming video (Netflix, HBO, Sling Cable, etc). It does not happen when I am playing
    games.

    Does anybody have any idea what would cause this and/or how to fix it, if it is fixable?

    At this rate, updating to a One S would not be the end of the world, but would like to postpone doing that for a little while if possible.

    Kinect voice issues - "Stop listening" woes

    Kinect keeps thinking someone is saying "Xbox Select" even when nobody is talking in my house. I've noticed that it happens more frequently when watching YouTube than at any other time or app. Every few minutes I have to tell Kinect to stop listening.



    I have a newborn in the house. Kinect even seems to have mistaken her babbling as saying "Xbox select" though it typically happens when I'm in the room alone or watching videos.

    Buffering problem when watching videos on the Dashboard

    Hi,

    I need help in figuring out how to get the videos available on the Dash board to play without the videos buffering frequently. I don't have this buffering problem when watching movies on NETFLIX, HULU or ESPN.

    My Xbox is connected with Ethernet cables to the wireless router which is connected to my cable modem.

    Does anyone else have this problem and do you have any suggestions on what am I possibly doing wrong?

    Sorry to hear about this Beeping noise, can you describe it a bit for us? Does it seem like it's coming from the console or the audio from the TV? If you purchased it brand new and it's only 6 months old, it's very likely that it's still under warranty.
    So you may want to check in on that, but let us know the details so we can get a better idea!

    Hi there,

    May be worth trying the following steps to reset the xbox s video settings.

    1. If there's a disc in the Xbox One console, eject it.
    2. On the console, press and hold the Xbox button for five seconds to turn off the console.
    3. Press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You will hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep.
      DO NOT LET GO until the second beep occurs.

    Video On Media Player Keeps Crashing

    Same here. Since the last update the media player app keeps crashing after 40 minutes or so of watching videos. Mkv, mp4 it doesn't matter. Uninstalled and reinstalled twice. Still didn't help. My usb drive videos work fine on the Xbox 360. I'm gonna try

    Xbox black screen

    I did a hard reset on my xbox one and got the green loading screen and then when it is finished loading it goes directly to a black screen. It is not a display issue. I also tried the holding down the multiple buttons (waited for second beep etc.)
    on the xbox and it hasn't worked either... still the same black screen

    I tried all the basic things that could help. Nothing works. On all hdmi ports on the tv i get no video. And the xbox keeps beeping. 2 beeps a time
