    Xbox One beeps but won't turn on


    So the other day, my original Xbox One suddenly shut off, and when I turned it back on, the console warned me about overheating and ventilation, so I wiped off the dust over the vents and let it cool down. Later that night, it suddenly shut off again, except
    now it won't turn on at all.

    If I press the power button, it beeps, but won't turn on. I've tried removing the power cable and letting it sit, I've tried hitting the pair button and the eject disc button (the eject button also beeps but doesn't eject the disc stuck inside), I have even
    tried changing the outlet it's plugged into, but nothing has worked. I don't have an external hard drive to cause any issues either.

    Is there anything I can do to fix this? Can I send it in for repairs? Or am I just out of luck and need to buy a new console?

    Yes i just hear the sound of the Xbox one when it turns on it ''beeps'' then after it ''beeps'' again and turn off. I was playing lately today on it, and it just ''beeps' turn off while i was playing....

    Hi there,

    May be worth trying the following steps to reset the xbox s video settings.

    1. If there's a disc in the Xbox One console, eject it.
    2. On the console, press and hold the Xbox button for five seconds to turn off the console.
    3. Press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You will hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep.
      DO NOT LET GO until the second beep occurs.
