Discus and support Xbox One BC and DLC Discs? in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Hi!, do we have any information if Xbox 360 DLC discs will be supported on Xbox One?     Xbox One BC and DLC Discs?


    Hi!, do we have any information if Xbox 360 DLC discs will be supported on Xbox One? I couldn't find any but i have as an example Skyrim - Legendary Edition, and it would really suck if people have to buy the dlcs again from the store in order to use them
    one Xbox One.

    Yes, absolutely. I bought a download Xbox 360 code for Dead Red Redemption when it became BC for the Xbox One. I redeemed it on the console and downloaded it no problem. DLC codes for BC games will work too.

    If you previously owned the dlc for any BC game just go to the manage game option on your xbox one and the dlc will be in the ready to install section.

    Issue has been resolved! The reference to "Bring Down the Sky" in the error message is because I failed to install the Bonus Content Disc that contains that DLC. I'm using the Platinum Hits version. Got confused bc my Xbox One automatically downloaded
    the extra DLC from the main game disc and didn't require the bonus disc. So convenient but definitely had me confused! :p

    Hi,

    Do other BC Xbox 360 game discs work on your Xbox One? For the Xbox One to recognise the game and download it from Live it must:

    • Be able to read the disc. Check if the disc is dirty or damaged
    • Have a working Optical drive capable of reading Xbox 360 discs. Try other BC discs or test a DVD movie.

    The Xbox One has two diodes for reading discs in the optical Blu-ray Drive. A red laser is used to read Xbox 360 and DVD movies and a blue laser to read Xbox One games and Blu-ray movies. If the diode for reading DVD's is faulty, BC Xbox 360 discs won't
    work.

    Sorry to hear you're having this issue. Not all DLC included in a GOTY package will install in a BC title. Have you tried playing the game with the DLC disc still in the console?

    BC is a program for all games. On discs and digital. There is no difference. Library of BC games is here. There is Xbox one version of the game.
