Hey! I was wondering if there was some way to fix it so I can download at max speeds while playing games, I've noticed it drops low while I'm playing games then I close the game and my download speed jumps up

Goto your network settings and check the bandwidth useage. It will tell you whats been uploaded and downloaded

There is not really a easy answer for this. Some games I have played have used as little at 10mb per hour, while others I have seen it in the 40 to 50mb per hour useage. That is just playing games, not using netflix, hulu, even party chat. The best bet would
be check your date useage before playing and double check back after your playing. Most phones have a # code you can enter to check your useage. Using an android phone there are many apps on the market to keep track of the data.

Just becareful as going over your bandwidth can be very costly.

 

downloading at max Speed siginificantly increases lag in online games. this is why gaming Systems will reduce download Speeds while gaming.

 

You're using up bandwidth in order to play your games, so obviously the download has to slow down in order to accomodate that. It will keep going - which is great - but it cannot run at maximum capacity simply because you're also using the network for playing
your games.
