Xbox one Bandwidth usage issue

My xbox one have downloading issues

When i download games

My current bandwidth usage shows 2.10 mb

But game doesn't download at 2mb

It takes 3-4 mins to download 2mb

X1 is connected wirelessly to router

I tried restarting router.

Disconnecting every device from router but same speed

It shows 2mb but downloads around 400kb

Help would be appreciated.

Thanks for posting, and sorry to see the high bandwidth usage! Has your Xbox One's data usage looked accurate after 5/31? This may have been a visual bug, and your Xbox One console most likely has not reached anywhere near 3,600 TB of data usage. The most
reliable tool to check internet usage will be through your ISP. Any bandwidth usage your Xbox One console actually uses will reflect on the ISP side. I would not worry about your Xbox One console using that much data unless your ISP is reflecting the same
amount of usage.

Hi there, I think I know what's going on here.

The Bandwidth Meter displays your current bandwidth in megabits per second but what you are downloading is showing the speed at
megabytes. These two data measurements are different.

bit is 1 bit

byte is 8 bits

This means that the speed what you are seeing in the bandwidth meter is
8 times larger than what you are seeing in your download.

Bandwidth usage always takes measures of how much data (Kilobyte, Megabyte, Gigabyte etc.) you've actually downloaded, as opposed to download- and upload speed, where these are measured in bits per second (Kbit/s, Mbit/s, Gbit/s etc.). However, these two
correspond with one and the other, as per Term Royal's previous post.

As the others above mentioned, you may be misreading how your console is displaying the statistics.

However, regardless, that is a pretty slow connection there.

Could you please provide the following information:

- Router make/model

- Type of wireless connection (2G or 5G)

- Region/country

- ISP
