XBOX One Bad Value

This Christmas has been a real downer for XBOX One. We had 2 Xbox 360's and kids never had trouble playing games. I bought Xbox One and 5 games including Destiny, and Master Chief Collection. We started to play the first week of December and then over Christmas
break last week have only managed to sign on live account 2 times for about 5 hours total and only 2 hours trying to play Destiny but keep getting bumped off in middle of game play. For last 24 hours can not connect. To Bungy servers at all. They should make
these games so that if you can't get online there is something to do. When I can't sign on live, can't play anything and when finally get on live then games don't work. Microsoft and Buggy should be ashamed, I have spent about a grand on this new system, with
games and extras... and can't even play what I paid for. Does any one else feel this holiday season?

Xbox Trade In!!

500 GB xbox one for $135 is not bad, considering the price for it has dropped to $279. that's almost half the value back there.

 

Downunder the Xbox One is looking better value than the PS4.... US needs a price drop.

Due to the vagaries of pricing of gaming in Australia the Xbox One will be released at $A599. The PS4 will be released at $A549. With this price difference I think the Xbox One looks better value than the PS4... Even if you don't want Kinect paying an extra
$A50 doesn't seem like bad value.

It's making my decision for me. Xbox One day one. I think MS need to drop the US price by $50.

Yep. Everything should work okay if you play offline. (For the most part)

Additionally, it is suspected that a hacker group is responsible for most of these Live outages, and there is apparently not too much Microsoft can do about that atm.

All this business isn't HG doing but rather MS and Sony's.

What better way, other than bribing senators, can too big to jail corporations get Congress and other lawmaking bodies to pass "sweeping legislation" (SOPA etc) than to have a public outcry?

 

Not surprising someone like Electro would support SOPA, which ironically failed to pass legislation years ago.

 

I admit, I haven't tried playing any games on Christmas, I was spending time with family, but I haven't seen a network outage for months. In fact I only witnessed one outage since day one. Maybe you have a problem with your internet connection?

Xbox live has been wonky a few times here and there over the last year or so. Mostly to do with the friends list from what I recall.

 

I haven't experienced anything since Christmas and even then it was random sign on's/off's trying to get Ryse updated which i was luckily able to...been pretty good ever since.

 

So you got to play three weeks no problem and one day abit of problems. Which means it's terrible? I don't get it lol.

 

Re-read his message, Akame. He isn't supporting SOPA, he is saying that this whole DDoS attack and the lack of transparency from Sony/MS is a conspiracy to get certain legislation passed through the help of public outcry.

Other than the Christmas Day outage, mine has been working fine. Destiny seems to kick me randomly right to a blank screen every now and then, but other than that..... I would not say that the X1 is a bad value.
