Xbox One Backwards Compatible Profile Not Downloading

just purchased Civilization Revolution and the game

Prompted me to download my old Xbox 360 profile to play online (which is the same profile I currently use). When I attempted to download, I was given an error message that my account can't be downloaded and I haven't found a fix in a half hour's worth of
searching. Not only this, but I've heard that I can't get a refund for a digital purchase, even though I wish to refund the game because of issues with Xbox itself

Fable 1 is not backward compatible - please check this list for backward compatible games on Xbox One.

With xbox one backwards compatible games accessories are not compatible. Also only a few games are backwards compatible with more coming

Hey there Bean!

There was an issue impacting backward compatibility last night that we believe to have since been fixed. Can you try playing Civilization Revolution (great game btw!) again and see if it works for you now?

If not, post back with the specific error message and/or code that you get so we can take a look.

Thank you for posting on the XBox forums. The Xbox backwards compatibility program is intended for the Xbox One, so the digital downloads for Xbox Original backwards compatible games can only be downloaded on an Xbox One console. You can probably still
play Xbox Original games on the Xbox 360 if you have the discs and if they were backwards compatible back when it was available on the Xbox 360.

Hello Marcus!

I'm a little confused by your question. Are you first trying to download your profile onto your xbox one from your 360?

If it is about a backwards compatible game for the xbox one, if it is not on this list then it will not work.

You need to have your Xbox 360 profile downloaded on your Xbox One console while playing Xbox 360 backwards compatible games. You can try to delete and re-download it by trying these steps below:

*Launch the Xbox 360 Backwards Compatible Game

*While on the loading screen, press the Menu and View Button at the same time (Two small buttons at the center of the controller)

*Once you successfully pressed the two buttons, the Xbox 360 Guide Button should show up

*From there, you have an option to Delete or Download Your Profile

Try those steps, make sure that your profile is downloaded and signed in, then launch the Xbox 360 Backwards Compatible Game again.
