Xbox one backwards compatibility

Alright so I know this a basic question but its kinda digging at me right now.. If they have the backwards compatibility running like an emulator if I were to play.. lets say battlefield 4 online would it run off the Xbox 360 servers or would it run off
the Xbox one servers I'm not quite understanding how this is gonna work..

I'm assuming you mean MP? In which case it would run off of EA dedicated servers.

 

If you are playing an Xbox 360 game on your One then you are accessing the 360 version of Live. It would be that version that acts as the gatekeeper to EA's servers.

 

It's the Xbox 360 OS and hardware being emulated entirely in Software by the Xbox One. You can read into this further if you like, but in essence, as far as an Xbox 360 game is concerned, it's running on a real Xbox 360. The game won't know the difference.
