  1. Xbox One backwards compatibility storage issue

Now, I know that the backwards compatibility update was just announced today and only released a few hours ago for preview members, but I am encountering one big issue. At first, once I downloaded A Kingdom For Keflings it asked me to sign in. Once it said
that there were no accounts available (which was obviously false since I was logged on) I figured that maybe I had to download my account once and it would recognize it, being a different system and all. However, after all of that it does not recognize my
hard drive for my One, and only says I can access my cloud storage. Is there something wrong, or can you really only save these files on the cloud?

I know you can use 360 cloud saves to play them on the One, but I can't save my games anywhere BUT the cloud. Is there a way around that?

    :)

Shouldn't be an issue. Uploading the save to the cloud storage is the way to access them on the Xbox One - a USB will not work for the backwards compatibility.

    Xbox LIVE 360 Still Down?

Apart from a cloud storage issue with Minecraft saves xbox live is up and running.

100% backwards compatibility was never promised on the 360 so not sure where you got that from.

Xbox One backwards compatibility storage issue

    Hi Mack R,

Sorry you're having issues using the backwards compatibility feature on your Xbox. First thing I would try is a hard reset. With the Xbox powered on hold the power button for about 10 seconds, you will see the Xbox quickly shut off. After that go ahead
and turn it back on, and expect a longer boot time. After that, only sign into your profile if there are multiple profile on the Xbox One. If there is another profile that is automatically signed in, go ahead and sign that one out, then try again.

You should see an Xbox 360 type of boot up. Do you see this at all when starting the game? Also if you have another game like Hexic HD try that and see if you run into the same problem.

If it's still not working, check which drive you installed it to. If it was installed on and External Drive, trying moving it to your internal storage.

    Move Content

If that doesn't work, then try uninstalling the game, and then reinstalling it (to your internal drive).

Finally if these doesn't work let us know, and I would also post feed back in your Preview Programs Quests, and report a problem. I'm sure they would like to know about this problem.

Xbox One won't recognize any Xbox 360 disc (Fallout 3 / Mass Effect)

    Hello all!

We understand that multiple users have had an inability to run/install disc versions for Backwards compatible titles on the Xbox One console, and we would like to further investigate the issue.

To start here, it is important to remember that the games listed on the
    Backwards Compatibility Page
have to mirrored by the title displayed on the list, i.e. complete/deluxe editions are not included as backwards
    compatible titles.

For all users, it is important to look through our Playing backward-compatible games on your Xbox One
article as it describes all requirements for being able to play these games.

This should be a simple process, as the game will automatically install when recognized, in some cases, the Persistent Storage may be cleared in the
    Disc & Blu-Ray Settings:

    Persistent Storage

Use this setting to clear Blu-ray–specific data that's been cached to the console.

These are our recommendations for playing these titles, we hope this helps!

Xbox One does not connect with Xbox 360 Xbox Live

Hello, sorry to hear you are having this issue.

Have you tried clearing your local Xbox 360 storage?

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Note Double-tapping the Xbox button will open the guide from any other screen on the console.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select All settings.
    4. Select System and then select Storage.
    5. Select Clear local Xbox 360 storage.
    6. Select Yes and restart the console. This will not affect your cloud saved games or Xbox One games and profiles.
Also make sure that the game you are trying to use is
    Backward Compatible
