Xbox one backwards compatibility games cannot connect to Xbox Live

I downloaded a few call of duty games that are backward compatible on the Xbox One, I try to play these games online and get error code 80151904, I have tried re setting console, re setting router and modem, port forwarding, reinstalling the games and re
downloading my profile. This is an xbox 360 error code so the solutions i find are not for Xbox One. I just purchased these games so I wish to be able to play them online like I should be able to.

Games with Gold Titles Included in Backward Compatibility

When backward compatibility launches in November, all future Xbox 360 Games with Gold titles will be playable on Xbox One. That means Xbox Live Gold members now will get more free games to play each month on Xbox One.

Is it possible to transfer DLC games from 360 to one?

If the games are backwards compatible, they will show as "Ready to Install" in your Games and Apps. If they are not backwards compatible, then you cannot transfer them to the One. You can see a list of backward compatible games here -

When you say you redownloaded your profile do you mean on the One itself or in the 360 emulator?

When you load up the 360 game does it almost immediately say disconnected from xbox live?

Does it allow you to play the games in campaign mode?

 

I have the same question. it is not letting me connect to xbox live within the 360 emulator when playing the backwards compatible version of modern warfare 2. only when I enter the game does it not connect to xbox live. this is extremely frustrating someone
help please. I cannot use wired connection either so that is not a solution. it doesn't let me download my profile either it says I have "incorrect credentials" even though they are certainly not incorrect.

Is your password longer then 16 characters? The 360 including the emulator on the ONE does not like passwords longer then 16 characters. If your password is longer then 16 characters you will want to change it to something less then 16 characters.

 

Id say he means on the emulator as I am having the exact same problem, was playing yesterday with no problems. Yet this afternoon go to play and “ cannot connect to xbox live “ on the 360 emulator ... a friend suggested removing my account and re downloading
it now i cannot re download my account onto the 360 and continuously get error code 807B01F4

 

Hi there!

I know there is an issue with XBox Live that is currently being worked on, its possible this could be tied to that. If after deleting and reinstalling the game it still isnt working I would recommend checking the status of the XBox Live servers.
