Xbox one backwards compatibility free xbox 360 games on gold

This is for the Xbox staff but if anyone else knows how to sort it out that would be great.

In your advertising for Xbox ones backwards compatibility, you make this claim:

Starting November 12, all future Games with Gold titles for Xbox 360 will be playable on Xbox One, giving you double the free games to play each month—two for Xbox One and two for Xbox 360.

Download on Xbox.com/GameswithGold or your Xbox 360 console and the games will automatically show up on Xbox One in the “Ready to Install” section of My games & apps.

I tried to do this with Dungeon Siege 3 but it keeps coming up with:

! You have no valid payment options

What? Its FREE! Why do I need to add a payment option? Theres not even a Skip button

Either someone missed something or your backwards compatibility with Games with Gold offers is a lie

I sold my 360 to buy my Xbox one so I cant go back to my 360 to start the download process

Any help would be appreciated

When backward compatibility launches in November, all future Xbox 360 Games with Gold titles will be playable on Xbox One. That means Xbox Live Gold members now will get more free games to play each month on Xbox One.

Backward Compatibility

Every month I download 2 free games on Gold to my Xbox one, but, i cannot download the 360 games from Gold into my Xbox one for backward compatibility. How do i activate my Xbox One to start playing backward compatible 360 games.

So far as I know is the game free, but if you have had installed no valid payment Options like PayPal or Credit Cards for the XBOX 360 you have owned before, you MUST DO THIS FOR YOUR XBOX one now.

But be Aware that you do not purchase any Money for this game because it's free.

I have 3 valid payment Options for my 360 and the "ONE" and it works perfect for me.

 

If you have never had an Xbox 360 it will not work; it will only give you the "no valid payment options" error.

Not sure why it's so difficult for the "support staff" on here to acknowledge, but MS is currently advertising that Xbox Live members on Xbox One can claim Xbox 360 GwG games each month, but the system *does not let you do it* if you have never logged into
a 360.

 

I used to have a 360 but I never had a credit card or paypal account. Never trusted them but thats just how I feel about them. Ive always used vouchers bought from Game

They do need to add 'pay by voucher' to the options for methods of payment. When I clicked on choose method of payment, the only option I was given was to register a credit card.

Everyone needs to get off this 'Everyone has a credit card' train when it comes to customers

 

Hey, guys! Since the launch of Xbox One, you have needed a payment method on your account to get Xbox 360 items on the Marketplace. This is because of the transition to Currency from Points. There are no plans currently to change this, however I do suggest
that you find the suggestion or a similar one over on the
Feedback site and give it a vote.

As for the never logging in to a 360, same thing goes for the One. You cannot buy games for the Xbox One on the website until you have signed into the console and made a purchase (even a free one). I also suggest the feedback site as the place for your suggestions
on this.
