XBOX ONE Backwards Compatibility Error --- 8015000A

Hi

I was referred to this forum by MS live chat support since they weren't able to solve my issue with basic trouble shooting steps. In case someone from the official staff needs it, the service request is under
[Mod Removed].

I don't have a 360 and XBOX ONE is my first MS console. I'm trying to run xbox 360 games on xbox one using the backwards compatibility mode. The games starts normally but somehow the backwards compatibility mode doesn't not recognize my gamer tag. I have
tried Gears of War 2,3 and Judgement along with Dirt Showdown as well. But none of the 360 games are able to detect my gamer tag in the BC mode. When I try to sign in manually by pressing the view and menu button of the xbox one controller i get this error
after putting in my credentials -- "Xbox live profiles cannot be downloaded at this time 8015000a".

At first I thought this has to be an issue with all these games being digital so i tried using a physical disc of HALO reach and that too gave the same error that i'm not signed into any profile.

I have tried removing and adding up my xbox GT. Cleared up system cache. Cleared XBOX 360 storage. Cleared persistent storage. cleared MAC address. Uninstalled and reinstalled the games. Did a factory reset and even did an offline diagnostic update using
OSUDT 2 file version and nothing has solved this issue.

Any help from MS specialists would be highly appreciated as i am desperate to play Mass Effect on the X1.

Also error 80151904 what's happening to your backwards compatibility can't we just play it without our gamer tags because it's the one causing the error c'mon just do it for backwards compatibility pls

Are you sure these games are backward Compatible? For a full list of the games that are check here

I don't know if this will help but try being signed into xbox.com while trying to sign into a back compat game. it may pull the info from xbox.com

 

I have tried that multiple times while on live chat with MS support and it doesn't seem to work at all.

Hey, SN! It looks like you've done all the troubleshooting possible for this error code on your end. What country are you located in? The only other thing I can think of is that there is some sort of region issue going on, and I'd like to look into that
a little further.

The license is missing, expired, corrupted, or does not belong to the current gamertag.



Are you using the account that purchased the content?

Where are you physical located?

Please tell me when you first experienced these issues.

 

Yup this is the same account that the content was purchased from and as you can see the physical Halo Reach disc is also giving the same error. I'm physically located in Pakistan, but i don't really think that should be an issue. I'm subscribed to a local
gaming forum where i posted this error as well and I see people there using the BC mode without any issue.

Yup my console is up to date. I already filled the survey like a couple of days ago.

Have you tried playing Halo Reach or the digital games, on a different account?

 

Well I only have one account and i thought since that one is not downloading at the first place making another one would be useless.. But I'll give it try tonight nevertheless.

Definitely try out the steps Otaku Panda cx provided, but unfortunately since Pakistan is not an
Xbox Live Supported Region, and this error looks to be a result of that. Sincere apologies for any frustration this may cause.

 

It definitely is not a region issue... I'm pretty sure of that since there are tons of people on the local forum that i'm a member of who can play it without any issue... I'm pretty sure that its me who's the odd one out... Not having my gamer tag singed
onto a 360 ever is the most probable cause i guess.
