Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Adds Borderlands and All DLC

The lineup of Xbox 360 games playable on Xbox
One continues to grow. Microsoft and 2K Games on Thursday announced that 2009's Borderlands will be one of the more
than 100 titles supported on Xbox One through backwards compatibility when the feature rolls out
to everyone in November.

Xbox One Preview Program members, however, can start playing
the game today on Xbox One.

Call of Duty 2

No, DLC compatibility is not part of the backward compatibility program for Call of Duty 2. DLC content previously purchased on Xbox 360 is not available to play on Xbox One.

Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Black Ops II

Yes, DLC content previously purchased on Xbox 360 is available to play on Xbox One.

Thanks Goth, Gives me a chance to try this game again providing it isn't region locked. After the release of handsome collection it makes sense as much as Gow2 and 3.

 

I wonder when they are going to start adding DLC to the backward compatibility list? It's not long now until the official release and you'd think things like that would need a decent amount of testing time.

 

The DLC is included in Borderlands and I believe GoW not sure about any others though

Can't say that any of my DLC for Gears is showing up in the game, perhaps it is being added by region?

I cant believe how much Destiny took from this game..... enjoying Borderlands (again)... playing as a solider this time, last time was a Hunter... (hmmm.... like I started in Destiny.....)

 

My friend was nice enough to give me one of his Borderlands discs (Gave mine away to another friend.), so come Sunday night I get to relive some good times.

Well it automatically downloads all the DLC, it also plays very smoothly.

^ lol, yes it's actually very good quality for a BC game. Sometimes I do some stupid things, I went to install the DLC disc from the GOTY edition, of course it didn't work! Moving right along, I have 4 achievements for this game from 08/05/2011, it's the
only time I've played it.

 

Well, as some of you may recall, I was upset that this game wasn't included in the Borderlands Collection, which is why I didn't buy the collection in the 1st place. However, now that this is available as part of the BC list, I have more incentive to pick
up the collection along with this game. Both are probably cheaper by now too, so that's good (since I don't actually own either) - I'll have to check and see what their current prices are for both this and the Collection so I can have and play through the
entire series.

If I do pick them up, would anyone be interesting in showing a complete noob the ropes?
