    My friend invited me to the backwards compatability and i still have no message from microsoft and its been 2 days and they say 24-48 hours and i still dont have it and i need help why its not giving me the message

    Xbox One backward compatibility is not out of the question yet

    I think that's great news, but I highly doubt backwards compatibility will not be integrated. Now, I'm not the smartest when it comes to programming and what not, but doesn't the Xbox One need to be programmed in order for backwards compatibility to work, or does it have to be programmed in games? Anyways, if they don't integrate this, I really wouldn't mind since they're trying their hardest to gain their reputation back. Backwards compatibility is not that important when it comes to me, so I wouldn't mind them just ditching the project.

    Xbox One backwards compatability program

    Just because someone submitted an invite to the preview program doesnt gurantee access to the preview program. you may have to wait til the august update to get in sorry.

    Hi ll KoiFish ll,

    See if your friend can send you another invite. I'm guessing with the huge spike in people wanting into the program after the E3 announcement, things may be going a little slower than normal. That is solely a guess, and I do not know for sure as Microsoft
    has not posted an official announcement. Either way, if your friend can send you another invite, and it goes through then awesome, if not, perhaps if you wait another day or so, you'll have the invite to the program. Also see the Preview Program FAQ below.
