    Xbox One Backward Compatibility

    Okay, so I know this was just announced a couple of days ago but I was wanting to know for the 360 discs if there will just be an update for the Xbox One or will we have to get a whole new Xbox. Thanks for any help I get. P.s. sorry if this is in the wrong
    section.

    :)

    Yes, a future update to the console will enable the functionality. Basically when you put the disc in, the game is installed to your hard drive like an Xbox One game (but thankfully much smaller). If it is a digital game, you can install it from your "Ready
    to Install" section. You do still need the disc for disc based games though

  5. Is anybody else having the same problems as me. See below;

    I have several issues that I feel need addressed. I am a member of the Dashboard Preview program. But ever since the update it has been nothing but problems. (1) I installed Mass Effect with no problem until I booted it up. Since there was no save data
    it asked where to save it. It only listed the Cloud. It didn't detect the internal HD or my 1TB external HD. I have never had a problem saving/running games stored on my external HD until now. (2) When I go under Settings_System_Manage Storage, my internal
    and external HDs show up but not the Cloud. (3) I am unable to report the above listed problems via the Preview Program without it crashing. I understand that he Backwards Compatibility is still somewhat in a beta phase. But these are issues I feel need
    addressed.

    Any and all Preview program related bugs/issues/questions need to be asked and posted in the preview forums.

    forums.xbox.com/.../default.aspx

    The regular support forum is no place for them. Also the point of pre release software is to beta test it for bugs, there are always bugs if there wouldn't be it would be a full release and they might as well have made it public.
