Xbox One Backward compatibility issue

I know this is going to sound stupid but is Xbox BC only compatible with certain drives? I ask because I have tried time and time again to get my disc based games to work, i even replaced the laser with a brand new one and i still get the same error. All
my digital ones play perfect and my dvd drive plays X1 games without a problem (with both lasers) most my games are scratch free.

so far i have tried

Cod Black ops

Fable 2

Fable 3

rainbow six vegas

rainbow six vegas 2

the witcher 2

Sorry to hear you're having issues. Unfortunately, the Xbox 360 Fall of Cybertron disc is not backwards compatible on the Xbox One.

As long as those games are backward compatible this will not be an issue. https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/backward-compatibility And they even enhanced the graphics on fallout 3 for the Xbox one X.

With xbox one backwards compatible games accessories are not compatible. Also only a few games are backwards compatible with more coming
