    Xbox One background colours unavailable?


    Hello there

    I bought an Xbox One today and was trying to personalise it a bit. I am trying to change the background from the dull black to something less sombre. I go into Settings > My Xbox > My colours and then it says "Sorry, we are unable to show colours at the moment".
    Is this a problem I can solve myself? I already checked for updates and the OS is up to date.

    Please can you advise? Thanks a lot!

    How do you change theme colour?

    The colours of the tabs background, were different colours, "LostKauz", when you switched between tabs...

    Xbox One background colours unavailable?

    Sometimes doing a power cycle on your console can clear up some of these "Try again later" messages. To power cycle, with the console on, hold the Power button for 10 seconds or until it turns off, then boot the console back up, and give it another shot.
    Let us know how it goes.

    You can choose those backgrounds when you create a gamer picture on the console, when you are at the screen with the coloured backgrounds, scroll to the right and they are all there. Creating the picture on this website
    doesn't have the backgrounds, only the colours.

    I think the colours are for for the squares. I think the black background is normal.

    My friends console has two profiles. Each profile has separate colours.

    It's the tiles that are coloured. The background stays black.
