    Xbox One -> AV Reciever -> Optoma 4k Projector -> Keeps Searching for input


    I have connected my XBOX one to a AV reciever which in turn connects to a optoma 4k projector.

    Since day 1 of the purchase I couldnt use the xbox since after few minutes the projector will start search for the input source and then find and keeps doing it over and over.

    Solutions Tried:

    1. Replaced various HDMI cables - Didnt Help.
    2. Changed display settings in XBOX to 1080 - Didnt help.

    Just to add the console is not working with a 1080P HD Samsung TV as well.. I see the same issue..

    Still no Dolby Atmos for my Onkyo TX NR797

    If you're not using a 4k tv or projector, that does create issues as only some apps and such encode atmos in 4k displays...
    No - I have

    Roku Ultra->Onkyo 797 (Inputs) and

    Onkyo 797 (Main output)-> Optoma UHD 50 (4k projector) connected in that sequence.

    If the AV Reciever doesn't support 4k pass through that'll be the problem or if the AV receiver isn't HDCP 2.2 compliant. Try connecting the One S directly to the TV's input

    I have BOTH an optoma HD600X-LV (720P) and just got a Optoma HD131XE (1080P). after about 2 years on my 42" LG tv my xbox 360 Slim would no longer connect by HDMI, however it did connect to my new 720p Optoma projector fine so i wasn't that bothered. However
    i have just upgraded to a Optoma 1080p projector and my xbox 360 will not connect the projector pauses on HDMI 1 the screen goes black for 10 seconds and then it cycles through the other inputs. My xbox one however will work on both and the 360 does play thought
    the 1080p but only when played through the xbox one with lag.

    Any ideas on a box such as DVD player etc that has hdmi in and out that i can use to re-route the signal same as the xbox one without lag?

    Here I am a year later with the same issue, different projector. Using the Optoma UHD51A and I can watch 4k HDR movies from a 4k blu-ray disc, but the X-Box says my system is not capable of 4k HDR gaming. So, still no fix eh?
