    Xbox One / AV Receiver / Blu-ray blank screen


    I have just connected my Xbox One to a Yamaha RXV377 AV Receiver. Everything is working fine until I select the blu-ray player. I then get a blank screen, with just the sound playing. The blank screen remains, even after ejecting the disc. I had no blu-ray
    issues when connected to a TV. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Multiple blu-rays. It's an Xbox one s. I'm actually watching the blu-ray that I wanted last night. The problem is random but frustrating when it occurs. I performed the system reset last time and that did not work.

    The Xbox One S 4K Blu-Ray Player Is A Disaster...Good Job!!

    There are a number of AV issues with the Xbox One S/X and UHD Blu-ray playback, your guess is as good as mine if they will be fixed.

    Certain UHD titles are broken and will not play.

    Dolby Atmos is unreliable.

    4K AV receiver HDMI handshaking issues.

    Image quality issues, the wrong color matrix being used in Blu-ray playback (see review comparison

    in link    ).

    They could have broken something on the One S in their rush to fix the broken Blu-ray HDR on the One X with the 10.0.16299.4037 that includes said HDR fix.

    Have you tried turning off your TV and turning it back on? My friend has to turn off his TV whenever he launches Netflix cause it will freeze to a blank screen until it cycles his TV. :3

    i would suggest trying the suggestion in troubleshooting a blank screen,

    or call Yamaha, and make sure that its not a known/common issue.
