Xbox one automatically added to a family I don't have access to

Three days ago I purchased an Xbox one from a pawn shop, everything was working fine as of signing into my account then I noticed that I was automatically added to a family that I didn't have access to. I dont know who JasmineFob4 is (family owner) If someone
could help me with this that would be much appreciated. Also if I trade in my Xbox one for a new Xbox one will I still be in the family?

Hey ChiefHealer187! To get yourself parental controls you will need to either be added as an adult to the current family or have the current parent account remove the child from their family so they can be added to yours. If the child is removed they will
not be able to access the Xbox Live service until they are added to another family. For more information on removing family members check the

Points not on all accounts

We have one XBox Live Gold Family account. I added points today online, but only my profile can access them. I want any profile in this plan to be able to use the points. How can my daughter, playing MIneCraft, access the points to buy things?

Sorry you're having with family settings on your Xbox One. If you're an adult on the Xbox you can try to remove the other accounts. However, if your account is incorrectly a member of family settings and should not be you would need to call support so they
can verify your information and modify any account changes needed. See link below.

Let's say I purchase an Xbox One game digitally, does that game get added to a library where up to ten members in a family can access it? I understand that if I buy a disc I can resell it but I cannot resell a digital purchase.

If I know that I will have the benefits of adding a title to a library that up to ten members in a family can access then I might buy most if not all of my games digitally. If those benefits are still available then I would want to wait to buy a Xbox One
game through Xbox Live instead of buying it as a disc.

Good news for you. An Xbox One allows membership sharing. That means that all members of your family can share the one Gold Membership across the accounts. This will not work for the 360.

When adding the accounts to the new console be sure to add them to your Family to ensure that they will have access to Live service on the console.

Have you added her to your family account? You can do that and make your console you Home Console. This will allow them to share your Live Gold.

That's how I have mine setup and the kids can access multiplayer just fine for Fortnite
