Xbox one automatic clip record issue

So ive had my xbox one for little over a week now, and the only games i have are destiny, battlefield 4 and forza 4, so i got the console only with no kinect, and it seems that battlefield 4 is the only game it automatic records clips on, ive played destiny
for hours and it did not record 1 clip and same for forza, i played battlefield for little over an hour and it recorded 2 clips automatically.

Has anyone else had this same issue and what did you do to fix this so that it will start recording automatically on ever game.

Hardline clip recording

My x1 is automatically recording clips of gameplay. It recorded 50 something clips in a span of an hr and half. Shit is driving me nuts or am i the only one experiencing this? Anybody figure out a way to stop this?

 

Game DVR Not Recording Anymore

It use to automatically record clips of my gameplay, for some reason it stopped recording?

 

Some games have built in auto clip recordings and some don't. I know dead rising 3 has one for when you do a challenge. I haven't played Battlefield or Forza but I'm guessing they are the same. You can do a manual record though by saying "xbox snap game
dvr". Hope that helps man.

 

Shoot. You don't have kinect. DUH me! If you go the the xbox home screen and snap game DVR. You can do it that way. Use the middle xbox button to switch between screens while you have it snapped.

 

Since you're not running with a kinect, the quickest way for you would be:

1 - While your playing, double tap xbox home button (which will start snap feature) then select Game DVR, and choose "End clip now".

2 - Use the smart glass app on a phone or tablet and have it open and connected while playing. Then you just have to tap "Record" and it will make the xbox record the last 30 seconds.

But as for your question, this isn't an issue (as already stated by ChooseMyFate). As he said, some games has certain triggers built into them that will make the xbox record automatically.
