    when in standby mode how often does the xbox check for new updates' when i put my xbox in standby mode and there a new update it wont check for the update but only download the updates the xbox seen when the xbox was on before i put it back in standby mode'

    Disc games don't autoplay anymore after latest update

    update,

    the new xbox one update fixed the issue, now plays disc on auto when inserted, mods can close the thread..

    Xbox One Installing Game Updates

    I've never read that the Xbox One is supposed to perform game updates in standby ?

    As far as I'm aware the auto update feature is for console updates.

    Maybe try to turn off auto-updates
    I've got the same issue, however, I don't have auto-updates enabled. I've even restored factory settings after yesterday's update. And this morning, when I turned on my XB1, all I see is the Xbox One green loading screen.

    I am having the same issue but only the 3.6gb update causes the factory reset. The smaller update the 480mb one updates fine. I have turned off auto updated until a solution is found.
