Xbox One August update

So is it just me or does anyone else not have the latest August update ?

No 3D on Blu-ray app?

This is in the August Preview update, people in the program will get over next few days.

A full roll out will be in August to everyone.

By now there should be no one left not having it.

Please go to settings /system and check the info on your console os version.

It should read somewhat like xb_rel_1408.

If so, then you're on the august update already. If you console is on instant on mode you do not recognize anymore when the new update is there as it is loaded and installed in the background without notice.

 

Ive got the latest version and the console is on instant on mode. What should I do ?

 

Well... if you are on 1408 everything is fine then. That's the official august update.

Are you having the feeling something is missing?

 

Yea ive got none of the features of this update like the 3d blu ray or the friends setup by the home and store page

 

The 3D feature can be activated within the settings / display and sound menu. The blu ray player will update itself, too.

And there is no friends tab in the august update included. This new friends tab is not even included in the current beta versions for september but is only available to a few selected testers yet. With the august update there are only some new features added
to the friends app, like "comment" or "like" and a new "activity" notification as well.

Looks like I got a 3d disc to play now the problem is I have no dialogue audio.

 

Are you using a 5.1 soundsystem?

 

Ever since the official August update, I've had nothing but problems. The system wouldn't boot into games such as Forza 5. Kinect won't recognize my voice commands, when trying to access settings the screen freezes at the gear screen. I've already done
the unplug thing and also the button reset which only solves the issues until I turn off the system. I'm then able to turn off the system via voice and turn on again via voice, then Kinect doesn't recognize my voice.

This August update at least for me, has made my Xbox One worse as I has very little to no issues before.

 

So on this August update is the home page suppose to be setup with Home, Store , Friends kinda like the xbox 360?

As I said above, clearly NO. The friends tab is definitely not available to the public yet. You still only have the home and store tab. And there is no ETA when this feature will hit the public. Are your audio issues solved?
