    XBOX One Audio Stutter & Kinect Recognition


    First off, since owning the system Day One the Kinect has basically worked flawlessly for me. I'm only about 2 feet away from it when gaming. 9 times out of 10 it would understand me, that is until the last system update where now I have to yell at it at
    to hear me and repeat myself at least twice 9 times out of 10. Its annoying.

    Secondly, noticed this about a month or two ago, I get audio stuttering/repeating and system lag when I'm downloading/installing a game. I thought maybe it was b/c I was down to less than 20GB on the system but I now have an external HDD and it still happens.
    I'm running Optical Audio to my sound bar. When not installing/downloading a game the audio is perfectly fine, start doing that and I get the audio issue.

    Xbox one kinect 2 Multiplatform games question.

    No one knows if the kinect two will be using facial recognition or audio recognition or both? for the multiplatform games? it would really help me decide if the features were not mandatory and were also used often on multiplat games..

    Also how many 360 multiplat games did they incorporate kinect 1 with? I know dead space has a few kinect features, will xbox one follow suit with the kinect 2? with games like the evil within?

    Choppy / crackling headset audio on various games.

    So I'm getting some annoying intermittent audio issues through my headset. Games I've had the issue with -

    Star Wars Battlefront II - Constant audio stutter and sometimes audio cuts out completely or audio cuts to a buzz.

    Ghost Recon Wildlands - Audio stutter when near water or in a helicopter

    Forza Horizon 3 - Audio stutter constantly

    Monster Hunter World - When in areas with high ambient sounds (windy / water etc) audio becomes choppy

    I have a first gen XB1 (only 18 months old), an elite controller & Turtle Beach headset.

    I've tried different controllers

    I've tried a new headset

    I've tried new cables

    I've tried adjusting the headset audio settings

    Audio through the TV is fine, its just through the headset.

    Any solutions?

    Doesn't the new Kinect have voice recognition as well? So if one person signs in by saying "Xbox on", the Kinect will only respond to their voice commands?

    Why not promote Kinect, now that millions of kids cannot leave their homes due to coronavirus?

    Kinect was interesting but it was something not needed with Xbox and it had many problems with voice recognition and body recognition as well as when you tried to play certain games with kinect. Maybe in the future they can better implement something similar
    to the kinect.

    Performance Issues

    I am having the same issues as well. Frame rate stutter, loss of player control, audio stutter, lasting about 2 seconds. I have a physical copy and running it off of the Xbox One internal hard drive.
