XBox One - Audio - Stopped working

Hi All,

Bought a brand new Xbox One: Advanced Warfare edition - take it home, plug it in, no issues, super happy, etc.

Today, I turn it on and there is NO audio come from it. Nothing. No settings were changed on either the TV or the Xbox.

I'm wondering if anyone else has run in to this issue, and what they did to resolve it.

To be clear, I tried: Hard Reset/Power Cycle/Calibration/Audio Settings/Restore to Factory Defaults/Different HDMI cables/Different Ports.

I know it can't be the TV because right beside the Xbox One is a 360, and there is audio coming through that.

If anyone has any insight, it would be much appreciated. Or if you have had this happen to you, well, misery loves company

Audio Jack Not Working

I just got a Xbox One S a week ago and the 3.5mm audio was working just fine up until Friday when it stopped working. What can/should I do?

messed up mic

My xbox one wired headsets microphone seemed to have stopped working, I believe its because I may have messsed up an audio setting, please help!

Occasionally I'll loose audio with this game too. I'll finish a match and the audio will just cut out. Very Strange. Some times it even knocks out my whole systems audio thought the stero headset. This has happened when the controller disconnects randomly
while playing game.

Sorry I forgot to include that info: HDMI cables. I have made sure it's not the cables that are malfunctioning - they work fine with other items.

Hi baozer, firstly what kind of cables are you using? The component cables(red.yellow,white,green,blue) that came with the Xbox or an HDMI cable?

Sorry, I tried all of that and nothing worked.

However, there is some good news. I turned my Xbox on yesterday and the audio was working again.

I turned it on today and the audio didn't work. But then I turned the Xbox on and off and it worked again - so I'm not quite sure what the problem is. The audio seems to work intermittently. I will just hope for the best at this point. Thank you for
