Sorry to hear you're running into audio issues. Could you post back detailing the specific issue you're running into? If you have a home theater set-up with equipment such as a sound bar or receiver, be sure to post the specific details about those as well.
Lastly, please let us know which steps you have already tried so we don't have you doing anything you have already tried.

I'm experiencing issues that occurred after the 5th. One of my Xbox ones doesn't play audio for games, or media apps (prime, Hulu, Netflix, media player, blurays), but will make the keypad sounds, will make the sounds when shutting off the system or changing
settings. Am about to do a system reset on the console, unless anyone is aware of the issue and possibly has a solution. It has parental controls and is heavily censored, but have never had these kind of issues with these controls in place before.

When you say 1804 update are you referencing the latest Xbox Insider dashboard update?

If you are referencing the latest Xbox Insider update then please see the
latest update notes as there are known issues with audio that may match your issue.

Since the update to Windows 1804 we have been on several PC's, not at all, even this problem.

My workaround (randomly found): Immediately after starting solitaire on the desktop bring another window to the foreground, and wait until the synchronization is complete. If the Solitaire window is in the foreground when connecting, it will typically crash.

I hope, however, that Microsoft will fix this error soon!
