Xbox One Audio out of Sync and Glitchy?

For the last week or so, my Xbox One, which i purchased back in 2015, has been having audio issues. The audio will always lag and be out of sync, and this will be accompanied by some scratchy static-like noises. Im positive this is an xbox issue because
when i watch netflix using the app on my smart tv, the audio was perfectly fine. I have soft restarted and hard restarted the console and it doesnt seem to make a difference. What could be causing this and what can i do to fix it? I would really appreciate
any help.

Hi There,

Have you tried using a different HDMI cable and another HDMI port on your TV? Perhaps one of them is faulty. Do you connect your console to a soundbar or other audio device? For the out of sync, it could be your setup which you can then set so the audio
syncs up however the scratchy noises do not sound normal.

Its like a static that partially distorts the audio. Dont know what it could be. Ill try using another hdmi cable. And no, my console isnt plugged into a soundbar or anything else besides my tv.

You can just right click the movie in 8.1 and play to xbox one. Problem audio eventually goes out of sync on my setup.
