Xbox One audio jack on Windows.

I feel the audio will depend on if you have a headset or not. I have found that talking on mic within close proximity develops echos. If you are playing on the same device then the audio will be merged. When I played on the Xbox app on PC with my friend
who was playing on Xbox, I only heard the sounds I was making not the sounds she was making. If you two have different devices (she is playing on a different tv or on the xbox app on a PC and you are playing on xbox) ,compared to if you are playing on the
same screen, then the device will play what you are doing not the other person. When I used to play on Xbox 360 split screen, the sounds were merged. I feel like it depends on the game, if you guys are using headphones with your controllers, and what type
of devices you are playing on.

if you have to two xbox controllers plugged in it should hear differently.

It is the first time I hear that and I think that its not a feature on neither Xbox One or PC.

As far as I know, both of you will hear the same audio (as it will come from the same source).

Microsoft is a huge corporation, one audio driver prepared for Windows (and signed) would probably handle a million headsets.

There is also no list of compatible kits...

My setup is claimed to be Xbox compatible - however it doesn't work with Xbox (USB not work, audio jack has no port).

they are the same as the standard xbox one s controllers, so with pc you can use via bluetooth(audio through headphone jack not supported)

or wired(supports audio via headphone jack)
