Xbox One Audio Help

I've spent all day trying figure how to get the audio to work but still haven't found a cheap solution.I have a PC monitor that i'm using to play my Xbox One. It has no audio sound on the monitor so i aft to use my surround sound system or figure out how
to use my 360 gaming headset. I have nothing that connects to digital opt. cable.

So can anyone give me a solution because if i cant find a solution than i'm taking the system back to the store and sticking with my 360.

also what is the port between the Ethernet and Kinect port? have several things that can plug into it but nothing seems to work.

Help. No sound from Comcast television whatsoever...

I have my Comcast routed through my XBOX ONE via HDMI pass through. Although the XBOX ONE works perfectly and has great audio, my Comcast does not have any audio whatsoever.

Please help me troubleshoot this!

With the stereo chat adapter for Xbox One controllers, you can use any headset with a 3.5mm jack and through that you can play game/system sounds as well as chat.

 

There are continuous audio problem threads with no solutions. I posted one about the surround sound not working, which is happening to most people with a receiver. It is utterly ridiculous to call yourself next gen without the capability of surround sound.
Xbox one needed another 6 months to a year of development before release but Sony was just too fast for them. Now we the consumers have to pay the price, and to someone that WAS watching their TV and Netflix through the Xboxone, surround sound is crucial.
