    Xbox One Audio coming through TV 'pops'.


    This issue started very recently. Every time I play a game, use an application, or watch videos, the audio coming from the TV will 'pop' here and there. It's just a short burst of interruption, but it will keep coming back. I tried 2 different HDMI cables
    and both still deliver popping audio to the TV.

    Could this be an internal problem in the Xbox which requires repair or is there an easy fix to this?

    Xbox One headset question

    I just got a new (cheap) headset for my Xbox One. My TV audio comes through both my TV and the headset. How do I just make the audio from the TV come through the TV, and not the headset?

    Audio crackles and pops

    I have been having a similar problem with audio pops and crackles.

    When I have my Xbox One connected to my TV with an HDMI cable and my surround sound receiver plugged into my TVs optical out port the audio pops and crackles (only from the Xbox One, not from any other audio source going into my TV and out to the receiver.)
    Yet if I plug my receiver directly into the Xbox's optical port the audio plays normally with no distortion whatsoever. I even tried replacing the HDMI cord but got no results that had no popping or crackling in the audio. Hence leading me to believe that
    the HDMI port on the Xbox one is having trouble sending audio to the TV through its HDMI cord as I even tested each of my 4 HDMI in ports on my gaming TV and my living room TV that achieved the same exact popping and crackling audio issues.

    Soryryou're having issues with you're audio. Generally popping like that is something hardware related, and if the audio comes out correctly there likely isn't a sound setting to fix that. As you've tried different cables I would also try a different
    port in your TV, or if you have another TV test on that just for peice of mind. Also, just to rule out a sound setting please feel free to check out this link. Honestly I don't know of a software setting that could do this though so I wouldn't know where to
    tell you to start.

    Sound Issue

    You most likely have to run an optical audio cable from your Xbox one to your tv (if it has an optical audio input that is) if you want to get the audio to your sound bar. Audio should still come out through the tv's built in speakers though.

    Thanks for the reply but this isnt with a headset or mic this is just audio coming through my tv. Everything audio wise works great on my tv its just the xbox thats having the issue.
