XBOX ONE AUDIO CD PLAYER NOT WORKING

I have a small audio CD collection and was happy xbox one can play it. So last night i got a new audio cd and tried to play it, but the system wont read the audio CD. Tried the older CD's that used to play and now they wont play also. Anyone else having
issues with Audio CD Player ?

DVD's playing as audio CD's

Every time i put a DVD in my Xbox One it plays through the audio CD player app instead of the blu-ray player. I've tried turning it off repeatedly and I don't want to get rid of the audio CD player. Someone please help.

Has someone problems playng Audio cd on Xbox ONE?

The app freeze when i try to play a disc.

 

Do you have the free app from the store called "Audio CD Player" installed?

If so, please turn off the console and unplug it for 30 seconds and try again.

Yes i have it i used it like a month or so ago and yesterday it wasn't working. I did Restart of the system via settings but i will try to unplug.

guide to power cycle the console.

 

tried to power off couple times also reinstalled the app still doesn't work. Tried blu ray movie it works games work also. What else could be the problem ?

 

After spending 1h on the phone with Xbox support. I have to take my Scorpio to Microsoft store.

 

The disc drive may be damaged.

Hooe it gets fixed.

 

The store tried reinstalling the OS via USB but that didnt help so they want to give me new xbox one x, but i have project scorpio and they dont. So i didnt take it.

 

Microsoft may still have some of the special edition project Scorpio consoles laying around if you do a warranty replacement but any store will not unfortunately.

 

Waiting on the shipping label to send the system in. Will let you know what i get back

this will help you keep track of your repair.

Make sure to sign in with the email that was used to create the order with a live agent/or online, and then look for "registered devices" and click on your console.

Keep track with the tracking number and listed information when receiving the console back.
