XBOX ONE asking for password to old email address.

A couple of weeks ago my XBOX LIVE GOLD expired and my account was suspended. When I went to look it up on microsofts website, I noticed that my primary email was an email I don't use anymore because I forgot the password. So I put my current email as my
primary and another email I use as an alias email. I called XBOX about my suspended account and had my account restored after paying for the year. When I went to sign into XBOX Live after my account was restored, it asked for a password to my old email that
I got rid of on my microsoft account. I put my password in and it didn't work so I changed passwords and it didn't work again. I have no idea what to do because I can only sign into my profile when I'm not connected to the internet but when I am connected
to the internet, it asks for the password to sign into my profile. Please help.

Can't sign in on Xbox One

I recently change my email that I use for my Microsoft account, however my Xbox One is asking for the password for my account, but with my old email address that I no longer use. I put in the correct password, but it says that it isn't the correct password
for my account. Is there a way that I can change it so that it wants the password for the new email address? Because I won't be able to use my Xbox One until then. Thanks in advance.

this just started to happen for me I had to go to add new and enter current email address and password and it made the account but I don't know how to get rid of the old one, but it keeps referring my account back to the old email address in which I removed

Hi,

The account you use for Xbox One also works for 360 games. When the console asks for your profile, simply enter the same email address and password you use for Xbox One. Your profile will then be downloaded. You don't need an old 360 account.

The ONLY way to transfer email address *account name* is through your xbox. You will NEED the email address and password of the current account and the email address and password of the new account. If you do not remember the password to the account you
can do a password reset at Account.live.com.

well I remembered my password but it is still linked to my old email address... but the new email address is linked to the BeastlierBeef5 account ? My new email account was put in via my xbox so maybe that's where the problem lies. I now seem to have
2 accounts. This one with the wrong email address... and the one above with my current email address but no links to my games or achievements....
