Has anyone else got an update

If you recently downloaded an update on Xbox One then you are previewing the update for April. If you registered for the March beta update which went out in February then you are part of the Xbox One preview program. All future updates will be previewed
by Xbox Live Members who are in the preview program before the update goes out to all other members the following month. Think of yourself as privileged beta tester who gets to see features on Xbox One before most others do. Your basically looking for any
bugs or glitches that need fixing and report them on the forum so that Microsoft can fix them for the final update which rolls out in April. Updates look like they could be monthly on Xbox One. February, March and now April.

I've done the update but the 'what's on' section seems to be missing

 

I know there was probably a thread about it, but I can't recall... anything good in this update, or is it mainly just background stuff?

Party chat improvements – Additional icons and notifications within the party chat experience to help you understand your connection and microphone status. The party app will help you get your microphone enabled and show you when privacy settings or networking
issues are blocking communication with particular party members.

• Game hub links – You’ll see activity feed items when any of your friends follow a game, and you’ll also be able to get back to a game’s hub from activity feed posts related to the game – including feed items about the game’s achievements, game clips and
screenshots.

• Achievement notifications – With this update, you’ll also see the achievement’s description in the notification so you know what you did to earn this achievement without having to open the achievements app.

• What’s On – The What’s On area is now available for Xbox One users in the U.S., Canada, and the UK. In it, you’ll find links to popular videos, games, movies, TV shows, game broadcasts and clips, along with Trending TV shows if you have configured OneGuide
for your Xbox One console.

 

The achievement notifications sounds nice. Good update.

 

My favorite part of this past preview was "Voice Messaging"; comes in handy with my friends.

Voice messageing and dedicated party chat servers are still in preview and not part of this update yet

I doubt it as it was announced as a April update used voice messages a few times to annoy a mate seemed to work fine not really used party chat

 

Owww, goodie. 271MB Update. Yes I'm doing it now. mmmmm..... voice messaging. I'll let everyone know when it's complete should be about 5 or 10 minutes. Be back...

 

O darn, no voice messaging. The update is completed on my console.

"Sorry, we cannot open voice messages here. Please open this on Xbox 360".

Bowski made a thread about voice messaging returning to Xbox 1. I guess it will come out next week, later this month, or maybe next month. I am not in the Preview Program.
