Xbox one apps on the cloud wifi

Hey guys -

Okay! sorry if this is a complete rookie question, I know nothing about technology.

Im at university and have my Xbox one connected to the Cloud wifi as my university wifi blocks game consoles. Something about networks...I dont know. Like I said, I know nothing. Anyway, using apps whilst connected to the cloud was absolutly fine for the
first week or so, then BBCi player stopped working, Error code 02001 and just last night Now TV has stopped working and comes up with a playback error. Does anyone have any solutions for this? Ive tried clearing my cache, uninstalling-reinstalling apps and
all that jazz but it doesnt seem to work. Connected briefly to my phones 4G to test things and it worked fine then so its for sure the Cloud wifi.

Any help here would be great!

Possible Fix for the Netflix Streaming Issues

The problem is no doubt the xbox one. Everything else in my household works just fine over wifi. Everything, I'm running a 50mbs connection here. I'm only experiencing stutter on the xbox one, streaming apps netflix,hbo go and others.

Xbox one network conectivity

I just got my xbox one about 2 weeks ago and have been online playing games and playing around with some of the downloaded apps. Now my xbox one will not connect to the wifi so I cant access the internet. My phone and computer that I am typing on right now
are both connected to the wifi in the house. What is the problem with my xbox?

To narrow down an issue with your WIFI and not your internet connection or connection to the cloud gaming server, have you tested with a wired connection?

While the service can be used over a home WIFI, for optimum performance it's best to use a wired connection. If that's not an option I would advise to look here for tips on how to improve your cloud gaming experience.

Well, cloud gaming involves playing the games via the cloud so you never actually download the game itself...so you will always need a connection. As to what is the minimum speed recommended:

"Internet connection

7 Mbps or higher
Connected to a 5 GHz WiFi network (a 2.4GHz WiFi network will work but isn’t currently optimised)."
