    Xbox One apps and buttons react to being clicked but don't open or expand


    I'm having a problem where Xbox One apps and buttons on the dashboard react to being clicked but don't open or expand unless clicked like 10 or 20 times. I have a Day One edition Xbox One and I've never had a problem that couldn't be solved by doing a hard
    restart until now. I've tried everything I can find in the help forums including powering down by holding the power button on the Xbox for 10 seconds, unplugging the systems power cord, waiting 5 minutes, plugging it back in and restarting the Xbox. I've also
    tried doing the same process followed by resyncing the Xbox one controller with the system as detailed in the help sections of this forum. Nothing is helping and it seems to be getting worse. I also have an issue where the controller bottom right directional
    joystick is drifting upward on any first person shooter that I play (Battlefield 4, Hardline, etc). I'm not sure if the two problems are related, but resyncing the controller did not fix this either. I have brand new batteries, and the controller software
    is up to date. Please advise.

    Xbox One dashboard unresponsive or behaving strangely

    I have similar problems. I never warm boot. (I have the power saving enabled, so it fully reboots.)

    Over the last week or so, I have had problems launching apps. I can select the tiles and they react to being clicked, but don't launch their apps. This includes the "sign in" button and "Quit" on the application menu, none of them do anything when clicked.
    After a while of fiddling and trying different things, like explicitly calling up the UI again, eventually it starts working again. Not sure if just waiting a long time does anything.

    The LT+RT+Y (ctrl-alt delete, REALLY???) combo is hilarious but only reloads the UI rendering in my case, it does not make it responsive again.

    YouTube app "corrupted" since 2.0.17502.0

    I mean it won't react to anything but me hitting the power button.

    It seems that I can't launch it from the Dashboard, but that it will launch fine if I open it from my Recent games/apps.

    Try to reset the Xbox Insider Hub.

    Open the Windows Settings with the help of the keyboard shortcut or the gear icon on the left panel of the Start menu.

    Go into the Apps settings tile on the Settings main page by clicking on it.

    Locate Xbox Insider Hub in the list of apps and expand it by clicking on it.

    Choose the Advanced options link, under the Xbox Insider section.

    Find the Reset button and click on it.

    If I click equally on the rb and the lb, the one bumper says a click while the other doesnt. The RB says a click instantly when I press it and it reacts at once.

    However, the LB doesnt say click, and only reacts when I press the button completely down. I f I lift my finger a little bit, the button slips.

    I don't even see the option to download through the microsoft store now there is only a button to "Install from xbox app" and if you click that it opens the xbox app and continues with the **** speed.

    Normally this is due to not being signed either on the Xbox app or the Console companion, but being windows 11 you could try also to reset the game files

    Step 1: Open the Settings app. This can be done by clicking its icon in the Start menu or simultaneously pressing Windows logo + I.

    Step 2: Click the Apps category icon and then click Apps & features to see all installed apps as well as classic desktop programs.

    Step 3: Click on the app that you want to reset to see the Advanced options link. Click on the same (advanced options link).

    Step 4: Finally, click the small Reset button. When you click the Reset button, you will find a small dialog box with “This will permanently delete the app’s data on this device, including your preferences and sign-in details.” Click the Reset button in the opened dialog box to reset the app.

    Step 5: Once the Reset is done, you will see a check sign next to the Reset button. And restart the Pc
