    xbox one applying update fail


    I am updating the xbox one to the new dash board expirence. The update made it through the update and the console restarted. The console began to apply the update.

    The update has been a little over hafe way through the applying update part of the update, an the green bar has not progressed in the last hour an hafe.

    I'm not sure if my console froze, or if the update locked up, an has failed to continue to finish the rest of
    applying update.

    Xbox One Constantly Resets

    My Xbox One was working properly until I tried to download the new dashboard. Every time on the applying update screen my xbox resets, when it turns on its on the applying update screen and just resets again. It does this non stop.

    [BUG] if Movies & TV app has an update, casting fails until reboot

    If the Movies & TV app has an update and you tried to do "Cast to device -> Xbox One" from Windows not only will the cast fail but the Movies & TV app cannot be opened until the system is shut
    down.

    Attempting to open the Movies & TV app on the xbox will simple create the icon click noise and the app fails to open.

    After restarting the xbox, launching the Movies & TV app, applying the update, then casting will continue to work as normal.

    This has occurred that last 3 times there has been an update to the Movies & TV app

    Xbox One X Start up problems ever since I purchased this about 2 yrs ago

    Does this XBOX still have the original Hard drive in it?

    Typically I only see startup errors on modified systems and/or possibly after failed/incomplete updates. After you applied the OSU - did the system ask for another update - if so was it successfully applied?

    My Xbox was one of the first launched elite xbox.

    Xbox working, in Dashboard several times before I updated, no problem.

    Applied update (system on UPS/surge protection)

    Xbox fails after update.

    Analysis:

    Must be my fault, if something works then you change something and it stops working, logic tells you the thing you changed was the impact.

    That is an error code that appears when the console update fails. Based on the console you are using you can apply the offline update to solve this issue.
