Xbox One App Streaming

I have a Roku and an Xbox One and have noticed that the quality of video content is better on the Roku than the Xbox. The load times are longer and often the picture quality on the Xbox are not HD, while the Roku is faster and HD. I know its not my internet
connection, because i receive around 80Mbps and have zero lag while playing games. With all the TV apps arriving, i'm hoping to phase the Roku out and use the Xbox One as my complete media center. Does anyone else have this problem?

Netflix app? Amazon video app? Xbox video app? Or all video streaming apps? Did you try a hard reset? Sorry you are having problems. I have only used Amazon and Netflix. So far nothing terrible happening for me yet. Though I use those apps infrequently

I think you can't stream to YouTube because Xbox want to support Mixer 🤔

Then why is there a Twitch app? If Microsoft were so hell bent to only support Mixer, there wouldn't be a Twitch App. And yet, you can still stream to Twitch.

It's really up to YouTube to get a working streaming app on the Xbox One.

So please suggest to YouTube to create a Xbox One streaming app.

No, it's not the game streaming that's not working. I've never had an issue streaming with the Xbox app on PC. It's the new Wireless Display app on Xbox One that I'm having the issue with. My PC just will not connect to it.

Third party apps such as HBO GO are the responsibility of that third party. So it is up to HBO to make an app for xbox one. As far as streaming goes skydrive is available to stream movies

You need to stream your console to your laptop (Has to have Windows 10) with The Xbox Console Companion app. Start the Xbox One, then start the Console companion app, then select the connect icon on the left side of the app, and your console should show,
just select it, and select stream, that will then stream your console to your laptop.
