    Xbox One APP shows unread messages


    The app on my iPhone shows that there is one unread message. I have gone into my online account and checked to see if there is anything there and there are no messages in my box. It seems to be a glitch in the app, anyone else have this or figure out how
    to get rid of it? Im slightly OCD so it drives me absolutely nuts!

    Xbox One Messaging Showing 1 Unread when there are no messages.

    Since buying and starting up my Xbox One I have had a unread message warning in my Xbox messaging app. I have checked both online profile and verified there were no friend requests pending and have deleted all messages from the app. Each time I login to
    the Xbox One or access the Xbox app from Windows 10, it shows that I have 1 unread message when I do not.

    I am a bit OCD and this is causing anxiety.

    How to clear messages?

    I have no unread messages on the Xbox One, but on the app, I can see many older messages showing as unread. Is there a way to quickly clear them all?

    I'm sorry to see any visual issues with the Xbox App on iOS! It does sound like there might be something going on. You've checked both on the website and on the console for possible unread messages, correct? Sometimes I notice this weird message notification
    if there was a message that could only be viewed on the console.

    If you've checked both of those and there's nothing there, let's do some basics. First, sign out of the Xbox App through the settings and then uninstall it from your phone. Power cycle your phone, and then reinstall the app. It should prompt you to sign
    in. After that, let me know if the notification is still showing up there. Screenshots of your phone and the messages section will be incredibly helpful with looking further into this!

    I have no messages on Xbox.com and my Xbox app on my phone has always showed unread messages while my console would not show any messages. I have already tried removing my account and adding it back but this did not work either. I recently upgraded from
    an Xbox One to an Xbox One X and it still displays that I have one new message.

    I too am having this problem. My Xbox one as well as the desktop and phone apps all show that there is a pending message but nothing shows up in the inbox. I tried sending myself a message to reset the count but it didn't work. Still showing one unread message
    but there is nothing to read or delete. For an OCD guy like me this is kind of annoying. Microsoft please provide some guidance for how to fix this. Thanks.

    I can recieve the message ok but when i click on the message its not showing me the message
    Iam having the same exact issue. It appears the same way on my android app. I can see that I have an unread message from a friend but when I select to open it, nothing is there. Neither xbox or phone app show any avail updates. 😒
