When will the servers shut down?

Games servers won't shut down because of backwards compatibility. The 360 is EOL. It's more about no more support for dash updates, new games, apps, ect.

This summer, Redstone update should mark a new beginning for Xbox ecosystem.

Ongoing devices cease to be ongoing

You just have to take out a piece of redstone that's lit up, wait for all the wiring to turn off, then replace that piece of redstone. I forget which update this was fixed but it should be either next one or the one after.

Just used xbox accesories in windows 10 anniversary to update my xbox one controller and now is bricked. This is *** ridiculous.

That's the only known working solution right now. I couldn't find myself a Xbox One console either.

Alternatively, someone rolled back windows 10 anniversary update and got his Elite controller working. I'm not sure if that's a safe move as the anniversary update rollback may end up breaking your W10.
