Xbox one and Xbox app not working

The Xbox Console Companion app does not work with the Xbox 360, it only works with the Xbox One. If you are using the Xbox 360 smartglass app, that is no longer supported and no longer works with the Xbox 360.

It's not just a lack of support for the Xbox One Media Remote. I have a Logitech Harmony Remote that works with the Xbox One and it also doesn't work with the YouTube App. The only device that seems to work with the YouTube app is the controller. It's a
shame since the Xbox One Media Remote works really well in other apps like Twitch,Crackle and Machinama.

It could be due to xbox system over heating possibly bad components with the wifi router or something else entirely best bet is to possibly contact xbox support and maybe also wifi provider support and they can probably help solve the issue

Sorry to hear you are having this problem. Typically a hard reset can solve this issue, but before you do that:

• Check that your console is set to allow connections (On your console go to Settings->Preferences-> Xbox app connectivity-> Allow connections from any device)
  
• Delete/Remove current internet option in settings and then connect to it again

It the problem still exists, I recommend you to perform a hard reset on your console (Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the
console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.)

They told me that this is an issue with xbox live worldwide effecting the app.

They had me uninstall their app, reload it. Reset xbox one, reset router.

My Netflix app only doesn't work on the xbox one, works on laptop fine. This is why they said know Microsoft issue with xbox
