You can be logged into both a Xbox One and a 360 at the same time using the same account.

Unfortunately if you're on 360 you can't play Minecraftwith someone on Xbox one

Like NLH1 said Xbox 360 and Xbox one players can't play together as you would both need bedrock edition to play together and bedrock edition isn't available on the Xbox 360.

And also just adding that if you wish to have them both wired to the Internet but only have one Ethernet wall socket, purchase an small 4 or 8 port Ethernet switch. I was switching the Ethernet chord out every time I wanted to go online. Now I don't need
to bother.

I have heard a lot of negative things about hooking up your Xbox 360 into the HDMI port of the Xbox One.

My Xbox 360 and Xbox One are hooked up to their own HDMI ports (because my TV has 3 of them LOL).

Personally, I recommend that you NOT connect your Xbox 360 to the back of your Xbox One and simply opt to use the extra HDMI ports of your TV

You can Hdmi pass through but you might as well just plug them both into the same tv and switch inputs when needed.

I heard there is lag between the controller and 360 when using the pass through, I also read the picture quality suffers. I don't know for sure as I have plenty of hdmi sockets on my TV.
