    Xbox One and Xbox 360 Hdmi ?


    I currently have a Xbox 360 connected to my receiver via HDMI. I'm ready to purchase the Xbox One and as of right now I'm not sure if I have an extra HDMI port on my receiver. Can I get an HDMI Splitter and connect both consoles into the Splitter. Allowing
    me to switch between consoles from the receiver.

    How to play Xbox 360 and other consoles through xbox one!

    This is a tutorial how to play your xbox 360 and other consoles through xbox one.

    1. Plug your HDMI cable into your 360 and the xbox one HDMI in(Were you plug your TV cable in).

    2. Turn your 360 on, Click the TV app on the xbox one and your xbox 360 should start up.

    3. Now have fun you can now play your 360 through your xbox one, you can also use the snap feature with it.

    This also works with anything HDMI Compatible

    Can I use Macbook as a monitor for Xbox One?

    I found that on Xbox 360 we can use the EasyCap to show the 360 screen on Macbook.
    What about Xbox one? since they use only HDMi. Are there any HDMI capture device?

    As you can connect the 360 to the hdmi input of the One you do not need an additional hdmi splitter. Xbox One and Xbox 360 Hdmi ? ;)

    So you would be able to switch to the 360 by starting the TV app on the One. All audio data is passed through, too.

    Keep in mind that if you connect the 360 to the HDMI input on the Xbox One that there may be considerable input lag. That setup is not supported and any issues with it will not be able to be troubleshot by support.

    A simple HDMI switch should be able to do what you need it to if you want to look into that option.

    Hi there the xbox one cannot play 360 discs but you can plug a hdmi cable from your 360 to your xbox one's hdmi in port that way you can play your 360 games on your xbox one.

    I found a temporary fix if you have a 360 and an extra HDMI chord plug the xbox 360 HDMI into the xbox one

    And then use the Netflix app on the 360

    Go to your xbox one and instead of snapping the "Netflix" app snap the TV app

    And voila

    Why not disconnect your Xbox One HDMI cable from the Xbox One and plug it instead into your Xbox 360. If you get sound from your 360 you will know its not the HDMI cable or Receiver settings.
