XBox One and TWC Fayetteville

TWC Fayetteville, NC and Xbox do not play well together. I have all tried to contact XBox to level up this issue with no help from them. I have also worked with TWC and the FCC after contacting the FCC about a possible bandwidth throttle to Xbox Live and
services. I can use any device in my home to ping servers on the west coast >2800 miles away and get ping times <75ms and data transfer at >180Mbps, local servers >50 miles but <300 miles I get <45ms ping and download speeds at >200Mbps. My TWC speeds are
300Mbps down and 20Mbps up on any device other then the Xbox. My Xbox on the other hand on average ping at 100ms with <55Mbps down but a full 22Mbps up. So to add I took my Xbox and the same cables router and switch to a friends house 17 miles away whit a
different ISP Whose download is 60Mbps. Got the results of >61Mbps download speed and ping of <30ms then I came back home and used my Wireless and LTE on my IPhone and got a 55ms ping time and 44Mbps download speed for 1.2 gig data transfer but I had to stop
because of my Data cap. I've checked and rechecked all Ethernet cables and devices (keep in mind that I'm Juniper and Cisco certified and have more tools, equipment, software, and experience then I'll ever need to diagnose connection on my end.) Also I've
had to cut Packets size down on my Xbox to 612MTU so that my Online FPS games will run better without too much overhead while loading the game. That itself was a headache to find the magic number.

I still think that TWC is throttling Xbox but at this point if Xbox don't step in and find it and report it or fix it Xbox users that also are stuck with TWC are going to be very unhappy with buying content from Xbox store and playing online games.

I'm willing to bet nobody from Xbox will check this Issue and I've already cut so much ground work out.

I think most likely they will not make one. Due to the LIVE TV feature. And It required you to have a STB with the HDMI with it. But I might be wrong. And they will make one. but do not hold your breath on it.

Sorry you're having issues with TWC and your Xbox Live service. As you've taken your console to other ISP provided networks, and even wireless networks and had better ping times and less latency as you stated it's a problem with TWC and not the Xbox itself.
I would suggest trying to diagnose further with TWC, or
contacting Xbox Support here. As you're a network person, I would also approach TWC with some solid data from wire sharks and other methods of traffic monitoring tools. Using those would greatly help in figuring out why you're experiencing latency only
on their network.
