Xbox One and the curse of unsynced controller

Ever since my original controller bit the big one, I've had nothing but headaches getting Microsoft wireless controllers to both sync and stay synced.

The first Microsoft controller rep!acement would only work when cabled up.

The next one I got would sync sometimes and sometimes not.

If I got it to sync at console start up, all would be good for the who!e session.

This is getting be a real drag.

I seem to have my best luck with freshly charged controller batteries and leaving the conso!e unplugged over night.

But that seems like an unnatural way to do it, seeing as how I never had any problem with the controller that came with the console.

I've done all the recomended fixes all for nada.

I've also noticed there are pages full of others having this same problem when you google this problem.

Now I own one new Microsoft wireless conteoller that only works by usb cable and another that will sync up sometimes, sometimes not.

BUMMER...

here`s the problem, been there-done that.

As I said, sometimes it works-sometimes not.

Now here is what really has me baffled.

The original controller that came with my Xbox One worked flawlessly from day one, until it developed stick drift.

Never a disconnect.

Never a sync problem.

Flawless operation until the stick drift became unbearable.

As I said, now I have 2 Microsoft replacement controllers that both have issues.

Right now, I have zero confidence that any Microsoft controller will work correctly right out of the box.

It`s my opinion there is a flaw in these replacement controllers.

Not all of them, which to my mind means a manufacturing issue, but enough of them to give you page after page of complaints and general dissatisfaction with a somewhat spendy controller. A controller that many, like myself bought Microsoft product not because
it was cheaper. Not because of any extra features. But because it carried the Microsoft name.

So I`m guessing there is no fix for either of my controllers and I`m just stuck.

Hey there TG SilentStorm.

You shouldn't need to unsync the controllers. Once you sync them with another device they should automatically unsync from a previous device. Have you possibly tested one of these controllers with an Xbox 360 to see if they're able to connect there?
