Xbox one and Surface Pro 4 will not stay connected to wifi at the same time.

Do you have a static IP on one of those devices? I had a similar problem with a PC and an Xbox 360 in the past. I had the Xbox 360 set to have a static IP, and sometimes when I'd boot up my PC it would be assigned the same IP by the router. This caused connection
issues.

Log in to your router's page and double check to see if they don't have the same IP assigned to them, or the same MAC address.

I am having the same issue. I cant run any Microsoft of xbox games on my surface pro 4. I am running windows 10Pro version 1511 (OS Build 10586.63) with all the updates. This problem occurs whether I am connected to the internet via wifi, or wired in via
the surface pro 4 dock Ethernet port. My programs seem to work on other computers. Please help!

I have Xbox plugged into Ethernet on router and surface pro 3 on 5g WiFi in same room with Xbox and was still getting disconnections. No one else was using the WiFi and was still happening.

Is your Phone/Surface connected to the same router that your Xbox One is connected to either by wifi or network cable? Or is your Xbox One connected to another router/modem to the one your phone/Surface is on?

I have tested with setting up a hotspot from my phone and connected my laptop (surface pro 8) and xbox to the same hotspot. Unfortunately xbox losses connectivity as soon as laptop connects to the same wifi network.
