XBOX ONE AND SNAPPING...IS IT GOING TO GET BIGGER?

    HELLO Xbox one Fans/Users

Im loving the ability to watch tv and play my games at the same time but...

will we be seeing a way to resize the snapped window?

this would be great as sometimes it can be a tad on the small side and the ability to make it 50/50 or whatever the user wanted would make this far more usable in my opinion.

i have a 50 inch tv and if a snapped app seems small to me i can only imagine it must be next to useless on a smaller screen.

i know its early days but im hoping that this rework is on the cards as the ideas that have gone in to this new xbox are brilliant....they just need tweaking.

thanks for listerning to my rant

    OUT

    :)

  2. Snapping apps

    Anyone here actually like snapping??

this feature on the xbox one just drives me *** nuts. u accidentally double tap the xbox button and u get snapped, so u do it again and u just switch so u try once, ohhh ur home its fixed, nope you open another and theres the snap, so u gotta keep *** clicking
until you know your on the snap and then close it. ive had the xbox since release and this *** still drives me nuts.

i really think microsoft should work on this, as well as the ui. The xbox one seems like a windows phone/pc and it doesnt have its own identity. among all the others i know snapping would be the easiest to fix as its a simple feature. What i think microsoft
should do is just at least bring it back to the old 360 style. have a box in the middle of the screen like how it was, or something better. you people at microsoft get occasional good ideas and xbox has always been one of the best. so i dont know if im just
ranting lol but is there anyone else who agrees or doesnt like the ui.

    Hey Mock,

Like you, I really enjoyed the snap feature for what it was and how unique it was. I think one of the things Xbox aimed for the new update was to increase performance in the UI and I think it seemed to the developers that the snap really took a lot of proccessing
power and may have been slowing down the UI a lot. I think right now they're reworking the snap feature to be less proccessing intensive, I don't have a guarantee for this but it doesn't make sense why they would remove such a staple of the Xbox One and never
introduce it back. Of course this is my mere opinion take it as you will. Hopefully we will see the snap feature again here on Xbox One, maybe even the Scorpio. XBOX ONE AND SNAPPING...IS IT GOING TO GET BIGGER? :)

I tried folling this link and said group not found. I suggestion would be whatever app is your most recent app that was snapped move it to the top of the list. That way you avoid having to scroll down what may or may not be a long list of apps.

This thread is fairly old. For future reference it would be better to create a new thread detailing any questions/issues that you have.

In the meantime be sure to post suggestions to the following link.
