Xbox one and/or connection slows down after quitting a game

I used to have this problem with titanfall, where if I quit the game, or get kicked from the game, I would then quit/close it, then go to something else, like lets say netflix, then it wont load up at all.

I currently play destiny and now these issues come up a little more frequently. At times ill get disconnected and sent back to the main menu of the game, so I'll end up quitting, then choose to watch something on netflix or go on internet explorer, only
for it to not load at all. I have found if I close the app, then wait a couple minutes, it will work. But I want to understand why if I quit a game (so far its only with online games, ive only played titanfall and destiny so far) that my xbox and/or my internet
connection slows down by alot? I also have this issue if I simply quit playing destiny, then go to the upload app, the upload app, majority of the times, won't load anything and ill sometimes get an error. This actually used to happen on titanfall as well,
if I were to quit it and try another app right away.

Overall, im not sure if its my xbox one, xbox live, or my internet, but my cousin who's great with internet set ups say our connection is solid, and my xbox one also says my connection settings are fine.

The problem is that after you upgrade Xbox One, it slows down, throws Skype, Facebook, and other apps. Fix these problems

Xbox wifi connection slows down bad after update

About within 24 hours my wifi connection drops to 2 mbs dl and 1 mb upload after latest march update the only way to get it back to speed is to rejoin my network through settings and re enter my password then within 24hrs it slows down again. Also when it
slows down the xbox shows huge gain in wireless strength. It has been perfect since launch now it is broken with an update.

the game is not ended if you go to your Dashboard - it´s only in the Backround. If you are in the Dashboard you see the game. Mark this game push the Button for Options ant then choose "close the game". You Problem should be gone.

I have this same issue, it doesnt happen on my 360 at all. just my xbox one, especially if I quit/close a game, then try to open another app, like upload or netflix, it won't load at all. its like if I close an online game like destiny or titanfall, I temporarily
lose connection for a bit over 5 minutes.

The UI and all the ads or whatever show up like im still connected, its just starting up something right after closing a game or app causes my xbox one or its connection, to slow down a ton

Legswitchers are the one that slow down every players connection.

Try power cycling your console to clear the cache and reset the network card. To power cycle, hold the Xbox Console touch button for 8 seconds until it powers off, then wait 30 seconds, then turn your console back on and see if this resolves the problem.

I find that after I do a number of races in the same lobby, my game slows to a crawl, easily down to below 15 fps. However the moment I join another lobby or quit, the frame rate reverts back to normal.
